The virtual place-to-be on 8 & 9 February 2022

This event brings along the entire EIT Manufacturing Community (industry, academia, RTOs) as well as the European manufacturing ecosystem and it has been designed to foster the development of the best proposal and consortia for the upcoming Business Plan. During the MatchMaking Event, the Call for Proposals 2023 will be officially opened.  

The event consists of two half-days that include: 

• Opening sessions to explain the process, framework, and Call thematics, including Q&A
• Presentation of the 2023 Call for Proposal guidelines and process
• Parallel sessions with the Education, Innovation, and Business Creation Pillars, with more detailed pillar-specific info on the Call
• Networking opportunities: 1:1 scheduled meetings with potential collaborators

Based on feedback from last year’s edition, this year’s Call for Proposals and MatchMaking Event have been further developed to better meet the needs of Call participants. This time, participants can access and collaborate on ideas and proposals over a longer time period; the collection of ideas/initial proposals will happen exclusively on the platform Wide Ideas.

As a participant, you are given access to Wide Ideas when you join the Call for Proposals Sphere on AGORA, our social innovation platform. Before, during and after the MatchMaking Event, you may use Wide Ideas to:

• Post your idea or challenge on the site and start collaborating with others
• Review others’ ideas and expand on your own
• Keep the conversation going

To enable you to focus on exchanging and forging strong consortia, no pitching will be happening live on the virtual stage. Instead, we kindly invite you to upload all your ideas/challenges onto Wide Ideas in the pitch format detailed on the platform.
