Pioneer the Possible

Malaysia has set ambitious target to reduce carbon emissions and become carbon neutral in 2050, with major impact on its thriving automotive and manufacturing sectors. We are now inviting relevant companies within the automotive ecosystem in Sweden to join a delegation to Malaysia in October.

Business Sweden in Kuala Lumpur has launched Pioneer the Possible – a sustainability platform aiming at driving green growth in Malaysia, supported by Atlas Copco, Axis Communications, IKEA, Monitor ERP, Scania, Volvo Cars and Volvo Trucks. Since the launch of the platform, a series of activities have been planned and executed, comprising forum, knowledge sharing and networking session participated by representatives and stakeholders from government, industry, business community and academia. These activities have resulted in the development of promising industry networks and business relationships.

The positive outcome is a testament to the country’s aspiration and commitment to shifting to a sustainable future and is expected to create spillover effect with the ongoing initiative. Building on the accomplishment and interest generated towards Swedish businesses and competency within sustainability and innovation, Business Sweden is organising Pioneer the Possible Malaysia Delegation in conjunction with International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia (IGEM), with Green Mobility and Transport being the key focus.

The delegation consists of a 3-day program featuring seminar and networking at IGEM, meeting with industry representatives/stakeholders, government agencies and reception at the Swedish Embassy.
